For beekeepers ‘hefting’ is a vital tool used in Winter to check the level of food left in each hive to make sure that the bees are not starving.

Our bees our hefted in both senses of the term: they live on Cumbrian mountain sides, knowing exactly where their hives are and returning to them at will; they are also hefted during the Winter to ensure their welfare.

We take pride in producing a supremely natural product which helps the environment through the pollinating work of our bees.
